Mary Redler lives in Columbia County, NY and is a proud member of several community groups, but her main focus is Northern Columbia County Rotary, through which she builds bridges to other community organizations to do the most good for the most people.

What is Rotary?

Rotary International is a global network of people who want to do good in their community and the world. Rotary’s areas of focus are promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economies, and protecting the environment. Rotary is non-partisan and non-discriminatory.  Learn more about Rotary at Rotary.org.

We are neighbors and local business leaders who offer opportunities for people to get involved. Through meetings, social events, and volunteer projects, our members learn about and respond to local and global issues. Members also network, resulting in lifelong friendships and business connections.

Doing Good, Having Fun!

Our club is family-friendly.  We offer a family membership plan and invite parents to bring their children along to our meetings and events, allowing parents to get involved without having to sacrifice family time and providing children with an opportunity to learn the value of giving back to the community at an early age. Children participate in club events as is age appropriate or may engage in service projects and activities designed especially for them.

The Impact of People of Action

The Northern Columbia County Rotary Club supports and works with partners throughout Columbia County. We are a small club, but we do create a significant local impact.  Our annual apple sale supports scholarships, youth leadership camp and other projects. We have cleaned up the geological park on Chatham school grounds, helped at various fairs, and held collection drives for socks and winter accessories. Some of the people and causes we support include:
• Students, local schools and literacy programs
• Local youth programs
• Veterans
• Homeless
• Food pantries and meal providers
• Addiction recovery
• County EMS services
